This is an OEM VATS key for your Chevrolet Camaro with the GM logo.  There are 15 possible VATS keys for your vehicle and you will need to determine which VATS keys you need and they are not interchangable.

You can use an ohm meter and measure the resistance of the chip in the blade of the key.  Just touch each lead on one side of the metal part of the chip and note the reading.   Then match up your reading to the closest decimal reading in the box above.  It should be close to one of the decimal reading in the box.  You can also go to any Radio Shack and have them measure the resistance for you.

Once the key is cut, it is already programmed and it will start your vehicle.   Any good hardware store can cut the key for about $2.
